Consumer Education covers information in the following areas: budgeting and money management, credit, and comparison buying. Students become aware of their role as consumers and their interactions within the economy.

Every student must take this course with the exception of those who have taken and passed two of Introduction to Business or two semesters of Home Planning and Interior Design or Independent Living or those who have passed the Consumer Education Proficiency Test.
