In Gifted Lyceum for Sophomores, students focus on various academic projects and activities from various disciplines. 

English 1 within the Special Education Program.

Earth Science is a detailed look at our planet and the processes that have shaped it.

During the one year course, students will be exposed to important concepts in

• astronomy,
• meteorology,
• geology
• and physical oceanography.

Each semester ends with a final exam worth 20% of the student's grade.

This course is designed to improve your use of English skills through compensatory methods for use in all subject areas.  You will make connections and implications through reading and writing.  It will also help further develop your vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.

Teaching Special Ed Kids

This semester in Current Topics students will be responsible for the completion of the "Newspaper Workshop" workbook, tracking a story throughout the course of the semester and finally each student will be responsible for reading an additional 4 news stories weekly.

Consumer Education is a one semester course in which you will learn how to manage your personal resources by making informed choices in the marketplace, and you will discover what it means to become "financially responsible".
