Miller's Earth Science

Earth Science is a detailed look at our planet and the processes that have shaped it.

During the one year course, students will be exposed to important concepts in

  • astronomy,
  • meteorology,
  • geology
  • and physical oceanography.

Each semester ends with a final exam worth 20% of the student's grade.

This semester in Current Topics students will be responsible for the completion of the "Newspaper Workshop" workbook, tracking a story throughout the course of the semester and finally each student will be responsible for reading an additional 4 news stories weekly.
